The French writer and director ARIEL DE BIGAULT and EFFA have decided to collaborate in the development of the knowledge and the spreading of the Angolan music abroad. For over twenty-five years, ARIEL DE BIGAULT contributes to the distribution of Portuguese-speaking music and the one of Angola in particular.

She has directed a compilation of five discs dedicated to the history of the Angolan urban music (1956-1998) which remains a reference in the field. Published originally in 1999 by Buda Musique, this anthology has been reprinted in 2013 and is again available; In addition, she directed a film in 2000, Canta Angola that reveals all the creativity of musicians of Luanda.
